Children's Director - Clovis Campus (Part Time)

Employee acknowledges that due to Legacy Church’s Statement of Faith, which is based on Holy Scripture, as well as the constant moral teaching of the Church, employee’s services to Legacy contain an intrinsic and inherent ministerial component, regardless of whether an employee is licensed or ordained. Employee understands and acknowledges the fact that Legacy requires every employee to conduct himself or herself accordingly. Statement of Faith is outlined in the Legacy Employee Handbook.

General Duties

  • Great people skills, good under pressure, decisive
  • Grow relationships with Campus Directors, volunteers, and kids in our campuses’ children’s areas
  • All staff is responsible to keep our property free of trash and weeds
  • Follow the policies and procedures as defined in the Legacy Church Employee Handbook

Primary Duties

  • Passionate about teaching kids the love of God, and discipling others to do so
  • In collaboration with Albuquerque Children’s Pastor, create LKids programming to include curriculum content, teaching materials, activities, games, and campus-specific coordination that is to be distributed to all LKIDZ campuses. This requires travel to Albuquerque at least once a month for filming
  • Assist and coach Campus Directors to execute programming from Legacy Central and communicate with volunteers to ensure a safe and inviting environment for children to have an encounter with God
  • Oversee Purchase Requests, Graphics Requests, Facility Requests, Maintenance Requests, Video Announcement Requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Effort                                                  

  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
  • Work is partly performed in an office environment, with regular interaction and teaching in LKIDZ services
  • Moderate Physical activity will also be performed using stairs

 

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required; however, a college degree is an added advantage.
  • Technologically competent and efficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent in team management and leadership
  • Knowledgeable of kids aged 5-12.
