LKIDS Service Coordinator - Central Campus

All applicants are expected to attend Legacy Church, be in agreement with the Tenets of Legacy Church, actively serve in a ministry, be a tithing member, and feel called to serve the body of Christ as a team member of Legacy Church.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Excellent people skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage project details and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Answer and return all phone calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours.
  • Coordinate Children’s Services, distribute curriculum, and support volunteers during service times.

General Duties

  • Assist, coach, and welcome new volunteers with our Next Step Training Plan.
  • Schedule trainings, create task lists, and keep volunteer badges up to date.
  • Manage policy and procedure forms.
  • Oversee the service schedule and preparation.
  • Prepare for service with tasks including radio distribution, sound and mic checks, crafts, first-timer bags, lesson supplies, TV displays, and ProPresenter.
  • Manage the playground before service (must be prepared 30 minutes before service).
  • Coordinate volunteers (check-in, bathroom assignments, crowd control, etc.).
  • Perform service duties such as collecting tithes, tracking attendance numbers, and conducting safety and facility checks. If volunteers are absent, fill in as needed.
  • Close the service by powering down all sound and light systems, turning off TVs, and securing all equipment.
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion to support satellite campuses as needed.
  • Follow policies and procedures as defined in the Legacy Church Handbook.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Moderate physical activity required. Must be able to handle objects up to 25 pounds or stand and/or walk for more than six (6) hours per service day.
  • Work is typically performed during Legacy Church service hours (Sundays and Wednesdays). Minimal hours outside service times.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Competent in computer use, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures, including filing and record keeping.
  • Basic knowledge of office management principles and practices.
