Legacy Church Español — Event Coordinator and Communications Liaison — Part-time

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make hospital/home visits with our congregation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage a Follow-up system for church members.
  • Personal prayer with people who phone or walk in.
  • Return all phone calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours.
  • Work with Concierge Team. As a member of the team, you will take prayer requests, pray, invite to a service, and follow up by a personal meeting to greet and tour the church.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all Legacy Church Español events, including Spanish service events and community outreaches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related communications with Spanish service families and community.
  • Work with the Finance Team to establish, manage, and track event budgets.
  • Coordinate event payments, order supplies, and manage event-related procurement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors (catering, rentals, entertainment, etc.) to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Provide logistical support for special events and conferences.
  • Maintain an organized calendar of events and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all Legacy Church Español groups/classes.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional customer-service, listening, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with families, staff, and community.
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Creativity and proficiency in design software (e.g., Publisher, Canva, Adobe).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced in teaching and communicating scripture faithfully and effectively, with a solid grounding in biblical doctrine.
  • Experience in event coordination is preferable.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move between locations for extended periods during events.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

  • Part-time position (20 hours) per week.
  • Evening and weekend availability is required for service/event coverage.
