Proverbs 24:16 NLT

The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.

A righteous man falls seven times but gets back up. That is not a suggestion, that is a promise. When you truly make Jesus Lord of your life, falling is not the end of your story. It just means you are human. The failure is not what defines you. What defines you is whether you get back up.

Here is the truth nobody tells you. A lot of people fall over and over again and they get back up every single time, until one day they just stop. They do not stop because God stopped forgiving them. They stop because shame convinced them they were done. Regret told them they had used up their last chance. They looked in the mirror and could not forgive themselves, so they figured God could not either. That is a lie straight from the pit of hell.

God is longsuffering. His grace does not run out on strike three. It is new every morning, which means He has never once been surprised by your failure and He has never once run out of mercy for it. Every time you fall, He is standing right there ready to pick you up again. So, get up. Not because you found some strength you did not have yesterday, but because you believe He is who He says He is. That is what real faith does. It gets back up.
