The strength of our country is the strength of its religious convictions. The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.
— Calvin Coolidge
We, as believers in God, and this country need to get back to the Bible — to actually believing it. It’s the only thing that can truly save us.
A dog barks when its master is attacked. I would be a coward if I saw that God’s truth is attacked and yet would remain silent. The truth of God’s word, a belief in one true God is under attack in our nation and our world as never before. But no matter what the world says, teaches, believes, we should remain faithful to God and His word (the Bible) and not be moved.
The typical American:
The typical American believes, Truth is what I say it is, and no one can tell me otherwise.Americans today believe that right and wrong can be discerned only by each individual, based upon their feelings and circumstances.
Back to basics:
When we disagree about foundational issues such as God as the Creator, gender (male and female), marriage, family, and the personhood and sanctity of preborn lives in a mother’s womb, where does that leave us? This is why it is more important than ever to get into the word — learn it, live it, believe it. Only those who endure to the end will be saved. So many will lose their souls for eternity because they bought into a lie instead of staying with the truth.
The word of God (Bible) is the inerrant word of God. Believe it and save your soul.
