Sticks & Stones

In our country, our constitution gives us the right to say whatever we want. It is called "Freedom of Speech". Now, be aware that with this freedom, people will say things that may be considered offensive, but they still have the right to say it. However, there is a growing movement to label people as "haters" or "something-phobic" if they say things that go against the culture or what is trending in society. Those people are asked, "Who are you to judge me?" They are ridiculed or mocked into being silent because of their beliefs. Another name they might be called is "intolerant", yet the ones doing the name calling in order to silence the masses are demonstrating intolerance by definition. As long as you agree with them you are ok, but the moment you exercise your freedom of speech, they attack you. Political correctness is killing our right to say and believe whatever we want. We must not submit to this. We cannot buy into this dogma from a society that hates God and is trying to force everyone to conform to its agenda.

James 4:4 says that if you are a friend of the world and its philosophies and its beliefs then you are an enemy of God. Let us continue to demonstrate our faith in front of a world that needs God now more than ever.
