Do you have a begrudging spirit?

It is that time of year, when we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus. The greatest gift and testament of love ever given or ever shown is that God would send his only son to die for all of us. That those of us who believe in Him might have life and life more abundantly. Thank God.
So let’s not be a Grinch. To become a Grinch means that you don’t really appreciate the gift God gave to humanity. It means that you live a life where you grudgingly do things for others, especially God. To do things grudgingly means that you are doing  things reluctantly and resentfully. It also leads into begrudging what others have or have accomplished. Whatever you begrudge in somebody else’s life means that you envy them. It’s wrong and is the  attitude that is destroying so many lives and futures. When you begrudge something in somebody else’s life, you are saying to God that you don’t want it in your life. As a nation, with our current leadership, they have made success a bad word. Now people believe that they know what is fair and what is not for someone to accomplish and how much money they should make. It’s deception at its finest. We should be people who are seeking God and his ways and not worried about what someone else makes or accomplishes in life. It is always wrong to begrudge what somebody else has. It could be the thing, or attitude, that is keeping us from reaching our dream. God has a plan for all of us. Let’s seek Him by getting to know His Word and watch what happens in our lives, or you can choose to be the Grinch and steal the dreams of others by begrudging what they have accomplished in life. It’s your call. Let’s all celebrate the Savior of the World, Jesus. Merry Christmas and God Bless.
