Our impact as a church family

Our LKIDS volunteers select gifts for children in need, so every child feels loved, valued and celebrated.
Kids in the Hospital
For over six years, we've brought Christmas to children who can't be home for the holidays, and their siblings, in metro area hospitals, urgent care centers and emergency rooms.

Are the events and celebrations free?
Yes! The Christmas Production and Christmas Eve Candlelight are completely free to enjoy.
Do we need tickets to attend any of the Christmas celebrations?
No, there are no tickets. We just recommend you arrive early to get seats!
When do doors open for the Christmas Production?
The Production starts at 6:30pm, but you are welcome to come in early to get a good seat!

Is the Christmas Production the same show, or is it a series?
The Christmas Production is the same incredible show each night: December 20 through 23 at Central and online, and Tuesday, December 22 and Wednesday, December 23 at Clovis. That gives everyone multiple opportunities to experience it in person or online, and to invite others to join you on another night!
When and where is the Christmas Production happening?
- Central Campus & livestreamed: December 20 to 23 at 6:30pm
- Clovis Campus: Tuesday, December 22 & Wednesday, December 23 at 6:30pm. Doors open at 5:00pm
Will the Legacy Church Café be open at Central Campus during the Production?
Yes! The café will be open every night of the Production starting at 5:00pm, with food available for purchase. Enjoy posole, green chile stew, tamales and pizza before the show!
Will the bookstore be open at Central Campus during the Production?
Yes! The bookstore will be open each night of the Production at Central Campus, before and after the show. Get a gift for a loved one!
Will you be livestreaming?
Yes, we will livestream the Christmas Production and Christmas Eve Candlelight at live.legacychurch.com. We encourage everyone in New Mexico to come in person if they can!
Will there be nursery or preschool?
Yes! LTots (ages 0 to 5) will be available during the Christmas Production, where children will experience their own Christmas production. LTots will also have care available during the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
Will there be children's church (LKIDS) for 1st through 5th grade?
There will not be LKIDS during the Christmas Production or the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
Will there be Legacy Students (youth)?
There will not be Legacy Students during the Christmas Production or the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
Will there be sign language interpretation available?
Yes, we will have live sign language interpretation at Central Campus for the Christmas Production at 6:30pm on Tuesday, December 22.
Will there be Spanish interpretation available?
Yes, we will have Spanish interpretation available at Central Campus for the Christmas Production and Christmas Eve Candlelight. You or your family member can pick up a translation device at Guest Services before each service. Find Spanish service details here.
Will Refuge be open for people with special needs?
We will have Refuge open like normal for the Christmas Production on Wednesday, December 23 at 6:30pm at Central Campus.
Why do you include "secular" characters like Elf and the Grinch in your Christmas Production?
Our Christmas Production isn't about entertainment; it's about evangelism. We use familiar, beloved stories as bridges to reach people who might not otherwise walk through our doors. Paul wrote, "I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some" (1 Corinthians 9:22). That's our mission.
Here's a thought: most of us have Christmas trees, lights, stockings and candy canes in our homes, none of which are in the Bible. We don't see those as compromising our faith; they're simply cultural ways we celebrate the season. Popular Christmas characters work the same way. They create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where hearts open up to hear the real story: Jesus.
And it works. Last Christmas, 1,480 Bibles were given away. That's 1,480 hearts stirred and 1,480 opportunities for the Holy Spirit to move.
Jesus met people where they were, using parables about farmers, coins and sheep to point them to eternal truth. We're simply doing the same, and we're seeing lives changed because of it!
