LEGACY ACADEMY - EVENT COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, manage, and participate in Legacy Academy events (preschool-12th grade)
- Correspond with Legacy Academy families (events, sports, breaks, weather, etc.)
- Develop event materials, invitations, and/or marketing materials as needed
- Update website and provide support in content creation
- Manage Legacy Academy’s social media accounts
- Schedule meetings with Admin and Events Team to collaborate on planning and strategizing events
- Collaborate with Finance Team on managing and tracking event budgets
- Coordinate payments and purchase event materials/supplies as necessary
- Work closely with event team and outside vendors for events
- Chief Editor for campus yearbooks
- PTA Liaison
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (listening, interpersonal, oral, and written)
- Provide outstanding customer service and build rapport with internal and external contacts
- Strong team player but also works well independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong ability to prioritize competing time/schedule demands
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills and ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines
- Work style characterized by self-motivation, initiative, and integrity
- Develop knowledge in Legacy Academy programs
- Dependable and sound decision-making capability — a problem solver
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Creativity in Publisher, Adobe, etc., preferred
- Able to work occasional evenings and weekends
