LEGACY ACADEMY - EVENT COORDINATOR/COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate, manage, and participate in Legacy Academy events (preschool-12th grade)
  • Correspond with Legacy Academy families (events, sports, breaks, weather, etc.)
  • Develop event materials, invitations, and/or marketing materials as needed
  • Update website and provide support in content creation
  • Manage Legacy Academy’s social media accounts
  • Schedule meetings with Admin and Events Team to collaborate on planning and strategizing events
  • Collaborate with Finance Team on managing and tracking event budgets
  • Coordinate payments and purchase event materials/supplies as necessary
  • Work closely with event team and outside vendors for events
  • Chief Editor for campus yearbooks
  • PTA Liaison
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (listening, interpersonal, oral, and written)
  • Provide outstanding customer service and build rapport with internal and external contacts
  • Strong team player but also works well independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize competing time/schedule demands
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills and ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Work style characterized by self-motivation, initiative, and integrity
  • Develop knowledge in Legacy Academy programs
  • Dependable and sound decision-making capability — a problem solver
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Creativity in Publisher, Adobe, etc., preferred
  • Able to work occasional evenings and weekends
